3's Company
Since we brought our little buddy home he had been nothing but perfect. He didn't cry at night, he didn't really bite and did not even have an accident in the house!!! What what?!?! He was like the most mature pup I had ever seen. Until Tuesday...
My sweet sister-in-law came over to check on him since it would be his first afternoon solo while I had class. She said he has pooped in his crate and tore something up. Luckily, I got out early and came home to this...
My darling boy chewed up his brand new kennel mat!
Sorry mom!
Puppies will be puppies! And all things considered he is still pretty perfect!

To Grandmother's House We Go!
This past weekend, Matt and I took a little road trip to good-ole, eh well, we went to Houston. While we find the city somewhat depressing, we are happy to make the trip to spend time with family!
God blessed us with AMAZing scenery along the way ...
Bluebonnets are proof God really does bless Texas!

Family of 3?
Well, Matt and I have been praying and taking steps in adding to our current family of 2. And before my parents have a heart attack, by 3, I mean adding a dog.
We have both fallen head over heels for border collies. Matt loves the idea of endless hours of frisbee and just wanna smooch their faces. Just kidding, well not really. They are the most intelligent dogs that love to work and please. What a dream to train a dog to ring a bell when it needs to go outside!
Check these little buddies out...
So God, what do you think? Does he have a place in our home?

Class of 2011
YESTERday, I received a big, FAT envelope from the Health Science Center... I've been accepted for the very first Accelerated Nursing Program. Crazy to think that in 15 months I will have my second bachelor's. Back to the letter thing though... Funny thing, I was having an awful day at work. I did not want to go, I did not want to be there, and I wanted nothing to do with a career in the medical profession. I was starting to feel the urge to do something completely different with my life, something I'd probably never even studied! But, about a week ago in my time alone with my JESUS, I knew that whatever happened with my acceptance I'd go with it. If I was admitted, awesome! If not, I'd leave the medical profession and go wherever He pointed. So, next step right? Starting at the end of May I begin a non-stop road to my BSN. I pray to be exactly the type of nurse God wants me to be... as a friend said, "a messenger of mercy and grace". I'm going to have the opportunity to lay hands on people who need more than medication. Plus, maybe my husband will let me practice drawing blood on him :)
